The imagery of the sun is remarkably set, it reminds me of Keats description of the sun-god: His palace bright, Bastion'd with pyramids of glowing gold, And touch'd with shade of bronzed obelisks, Glar'd a blood-red through all its thousand courts, Arches, and domes, and fiery galleries; And all its curtains of Aurorian clouds....
Hi David, as much as I admire sunsets I tend to ignore the sun when possible.I sometimes have a strange phobia it will blow up the more I think about it, pay attention to it. HennyPenny syndrome or something. A wonderful write. I wish I could pick subjects so available. take care
