That symbol
Standing tall
It reminds us all
Of a history
We will never forget!
It reminds us
Of so much injustice
And
All the slavery
A history
That we will
Never forget!

When we look
At these symbols
Standing proud
We just want to
tear them down
Erase them!
From the history book
But still
We cannot pretend
That there was never a time
When some men had no freedom
When some men
Had no voice
Had no rights
The symbol now standing
Judged by
A new generation
These symbols
They will remind us!
When some men
Were a hostage of slavery
It's history
A history
That we will
Never forget!
