There's this thing you do
with your cheeks when
you get excited.
I can't really explain it
but it's exciting to see.
It's not really a blush but
in those moments you seem
like you don't have a care
in the world.
You could literally have
the pressure of the world on your
shoulders
but once you get a hold of one
of your favorite things
everything else seems to fade.
Even if it's for a moment.
One of my favorite things about you
is that you realize
that it's not a lot of things
that can stop you.
You're determined and you
always get what you want.
Even if you have to grab a step
ladder.
It just shows how resourceful
you are.
Nobody really notices though
but it's fun to bring it up
because your cheeks do that thing
where you smile and regardless
who's around you.
Even they know that everything is
going to be alright
