I heard screams from afar
a smell of flesh burning
roar of angry rotor blades
spewing fire; zip to sky
leaving shredded metals
deaf ears, blinded eyes
limbs mix with dirt, death
science has come to destroy
every protruding structure
going down to dust; to ashes
how much more we have to do
to stop such blood letting
for what purpose; I can't
understand, maybe you can
