Thank God As You Pray Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Thank God As You Pray

J-ust keep in your heart
E-very thought in your mind;
R-emember not the things
S-o forgettable and unkind.
O-n third day of December, the sky reminds you of birth;
N-o loneliness is brought, only the pleasure and mirth.

M-ist, haze, and fog
A-re not seen by your eyes;
R-ise of the morning sun
C-reates cheer and surprise.
I-t's another break of dawn, twilight has gone away;
A-fter you rise up from slumber, thank God as you pray.
