Thankful Poem by Kim Barney

I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Thankful

Rating: 5.0

I only have a bowl of soup
and one stale loaf of bread.
At least I have warm clothes to wear,
a roof over my head.

So I give thanks to God above
for one more day on earth,
for there are those who freeze and starve
from their first day of birth.

Thankful

Indeed so many hungry kids are starving at this moment, every minute, methinks. Thanks for sharing this gem, this Masterpiece, Kim!
