The Bills I Have To Pay Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

The Bills I Have To Pay

Rating: 5.0

At the end of my days here on earth
I shall be presented with a bill;

A bill for the sunshine
and the rustling of the leaves,
the soft lilies of the valley,
for the snow and the wind,
the bird flight and the
grass and the butterflies,
for the air I breathed
and the view of the stars
and of all the days,
the evenings and the nights,
for the dusk and the dawn.

Once it will betime for us
to leave this earth and pay.

When we are about to pay the bill,
The Lord God will come in and say:
with a smile: they were all my gifts.
It was a pleasure for me
to give you all those
In my freedom
as a free gift.
I am happy that you enjoyed.
