The Broken Wanderer

Broken is the heart
Pieces are shattered
And dispersed
Blood is shed
And drained
It's pale with this pain
Everything is taken
Nothing is left behind
What is gained
All in vain
Wandering alone
Without any aim
Hoping one day
It will be mended
And the tears will be wiped.
