The Death Congratulates The Wisest Poem by Abderrahmane Dakir

The Death Congratulates The Wisest

Do you come so suddenly?
All my thoughts are changed drastically.

Am I ready to meet you?
No one can flee from you.

Have I believed the greatest lie?
The truth will be told under the clay.

Am I be buried naked?
Wait a while, I'll summon up to give all my money.

Are all my degrees will be forgotten?
Wait a while, I'll teach all my skills.

Is my son will pray for me?
Wait a while, I'll take care more of him.

Am I wise to be happy twice?
Everything in life has its price.

Am I wise to be happy twice? Everything in life has its price. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -When we have children, we have put our hearts in jeopardy for the rest of our lives, don't we? It never ends- -they become adults and still we look in on them.... a very good poem about these feelings.
