The Famous Monument Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Famous Monument

Rating: 5.0

The little child had read
About the famous monument
In the History book,
He was deeply impressed with
Its great glory and stature,
One day he went to see it
With his father,
But alas!
The sweet child saw
Only the ruins of the wonderful monument,
He could not believe it,
Being sad and dejected,
Soon he came back home,
That night the innocent child saw in his glorious vision that
A magnificent monument was erected
On the relics of the great monument
Which he had seen,
It was immortal and imperishable.

Sad affairs, nobody cares, they only want to earn money with zero maintenance. Profund 5**

History is half truth if viewed from our end. The grandeur appears dilapidated structures. Nice one.5**

'A magnificent monument was erected On the relics of the great monument Which he had seen, It was immortal and imperishable' - loved the poem's gradual culmination into these lines.
