The First Kiss Poem by kenya black

The First Kiss

Rating: 2.5

I saw you
I was so conscious
I thought everything revolved around you
I liked you
I knew I loved you
When our lips met and
I felt fire and desire
Static and wire
Warmth and hot air
Heavy breathing and mid air
Ill never forget
Never dispair
When you had to go
When it was a secret of our little kiss
I saw your back to me
And you held me for one last time before you left
Waved like the ocean
Calm and collected
And eyes like a beasts
Never wanting to leave me
But your back
Your walking
I remember it all so clearly
The hurt in my chest
The pain in my heart when youre walking away
Thats when I knew I couldn't live without you
A love curse
A forbidden fruit we took hand in hand
The feeling
The moment
How it stopped
How it beated
How it froze
I wish you knew
I wish you knew
Of how the first kiss was a deathly meeting
A forbidden meeting
But bad isnt always bad
But good, good is good
Your lips
Your eyes
Your stare
Your stubborness
That kiss taught me well
The love of a beast
and the love of farewell...
