The Fury Within - Poem by Danny Draper

The fury within,
passion or hate,
eternally rages,
ancient or contemporary,
life and its stages,
we pit ourselves
 our heart and it's wagers,
against the angst
that makes lovers strangers.

The fury and angst, we carry within spoils even beautiful human relationships! Eloquent in brevity! ! (Report) Reply

It's usually not other people who are making us unhappy, but ourselves.
In time we learn- very wise poem.
