The Hills Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Hills

Rating: 5.0

Let me be drunk of
The hills of thousands of daffodils
Swaying in the light of the sun
As I soak up the beauty
The golden colour blinds me
Or was it the thought of losing you that did
I cannot tell you
Only I felt naked among the flowers
Bespite being fully clothe
As the gale begins
The power of control is lost

LeeAnn, you've brought Emily Dickinson back to life. She would have loved this poem. And your style!
