The Life - Poem by Keith Rosser

take a look at the deepest hole
stare into darkness
throw away your emotions
and you have some idea of the pain

the pain the drives the tears
the pain that sucks life
the pain that drives the blade
the pain that does nothing but bleed

the tears fill the hole
and someone special draws the light
your giving back your emotions
and once more breath in life

the eyes that once cried
the energy once forgotten
the blade that pierced the skin
the arms that once bled

all is fixed with
and those souls prey for that day
but until it comes
there souls will cry blood
