The soft, silky hand of spring
Like a magic wand brings
A splendor of green and pink
Tulips, orchids, marigolds, hyacinths
The colors of heaven by contrast dim
Of no heartache, do they sing
Spring steals into the skeptic soul
How love grows from the stones!
A gentle symphony pours out
The hearts enveloped in its vastness
A fragrant music, in depth felt
Love, peace, beauty abound.
This spring was really joyous to me..........A fantastic poem,10++++++
I'm reading your two Spring Poems on the day you wrote them - I love that immediacy of poet writing and reader appreciating. These are two different ways of writing: A MARCH DAY is a narrow slice of the season, it focused on just sensory impressions of spring flowers. But MAGIC OF SPRING embraces the whole season and gives us almost a philosophical grasp of what makes Spring so special to us. These poems complement each other. I don't have a favorite because they do different things with equally delightful results. Brava, Nosheen, for your virtuoso performance of the Song of Spring!
Spring is the season of renewed life and gaiety ! 'Even into the skeptic souls spring steals and love grows from stones'! What beautiful observation! You have created the right ambiance of this pleasant season, Nosheen!

'Spring steals into the skeptic soul How love grows from the stones! ' I really love these two lines.. Your poem is a celebration of the MOST ROMANTIC seasons of all.. The wonderful weather is often very apt for all of humans, creative or otherwise, to actually enjoy the beauty of nature.., It is also the season when lovers bloom too! ! No season is better than Spring to be in love.. A wonderful poem Nosheen.. I agree with Daniel's comment. There is an immediacy to these two poems, and I would not be at all wrong if I say that these two poems are a 'spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings'.. A kind of a celebratory poem.. Loved your wonderful words, they are chosen to perfection.
