The Morning Drums And The Evening Bells Poem by Luo Zhihai

The Morning Drums And The Evening Bells

晨鼓暮钟

笼烟灵庙敲晨鼓
迷雾寒山响暮钟
绿野天高秋雨后
红尘梦炽夏阳中

The Morning Drums And The Evening Bells

Indistinct fog of the cold mountains
sounds of the evening bells
The efficacious temple covering smoke
beat the morning drums

The green wildness
the sky is high
after autumn rain
The dreams are ablaze
in the red dust
in the summer sun
