The Name Collector
I like to collect names.
Did you know that when
Poem Hunter attaches a video
to your poem, your name is added
at the bottom right corner of the video?
I change my name often, so
that I can collect more names!
Here is a partial list of some
of the names I have used.
The reason it is only a partial list
is because a few months ago
I deleted dozens of my poems
when I almost left Poem Hunter,
without writing down the names
that I had used!

I am not the only one
who has used pseudonyms.
These poets also do not
go by their real names:
Ballerina With Fins
Ima Ryma
Is It Poetry
(he now says his name is James McLain,
but is it really?
Mandolyn …
(she now posts on AllPoetry
using a different pseudonym
and no longer posts here)
Me Poet Yeps Poet
Not Long Left
Pamela Sinecrope
(she no longer is posting here,
but that was not her real name)
Practicing Poetess
Professor Poetry Hound
Sally Plumb Plumb
Sandy Nobody
Silentpoet Grl
Smoky Hoss
Unwritten Soul
and there are dozens of others
but I have no more time.
Plus, who knows, of all the names
that SEEM real, how many
of them really are?
Thank you for enlisting the names you use for writing poems on PoemHunter. For whatever reason a poet adopts a pseudonym, the readers want to know the real poet.If the name is not real, how can be the emotions there in?
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
Really quite interesting with a tinge of humour. Thanks for sharing and do remain enriched.
