The Pains Of Love Poem by Ravi Kopra

The Pains Of Love

Rating: 5.0

What do you do when
You hurt someone's feelings
Unintentionally?

Just say sorry?
For what? You did not mean it
It happened all unintentionally.

I do not want to be the cause
Of the sorrows of their hearts
When their dreams fall apart
Because of me. I feel guilty.

I cannot carry the weight
It pulls me down
I cannot move forward
Their sadness hurts me.

I will say sorry and move on
As I say sorry when unintenionally
I enter into someone's space. And she says -
Don't worry - and we go our ways.

What if it was the heart's space,
Now empty? It will heal, I'd say
Maybe slowly but surely when
Heart knows love's pains.

Intentionally or unintentionally hurting someone is definitely dangerous act and this brings and gives sorrow. This pulls down and movement is not allowed. But love makes life beautiful for self and for others. Nice theme is expressed.....10

Well conceived. Yes, even unintentional action can still hurt another...and when we care about the person, we apologize and move on or ask how we can do better.
