Who has the poets heart?
Who searches for the lost?
Words that heal,
Erasing scars,
Bringing back our youth
Who knows the heights of joy?
Warming the souls of those,
In the place,
where love is pure;
incense burning sweet
Love is the shelter of need
Welcome are those that bleed
My words heal,
Erasing scars,
With the poets heart
Now is my dark time of need
I am the one who bleeds
Give me words,
help me heal,
With the poets heart,
With the poets heart
Sometimes we bleed,
as our words become undone
Gone are the moon, gone is the sun
Then suddenly,
it occurred to me,
I'm not the only one
I have the scars,
scars that no one else can see,
then you words came in a dream,
A dream with incense burning sweet,
erasing scars,
With the poets heart,
yes, with the poets heart
As I was reading this healing poem, I was thinking of how stunningly beautiful great a song it would make. And then I read your notes. A stunningly beautiful poem-song, Bill!
