Churning, grinding, distilling.
The myriad expressions—
Tossing, turning, burning.
The mind of the poet—
Catalyst, vehicle, medium.
A host of images and words—
Combination, permutation, fusion.
The final product—
Essence, core, concentrate.
To the reader—
Rhyme, verse, poem.

yes this is the state of poet's mind...you have exactly given the inner picture so clearly and the confusion, selection and all that....well crafted..I ve written on the same theme' Poet's Poetry' on the basis of literary theories... your poem explains mine in better terms... loved reading it.
