The Qr-Code Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Qr-Code

Rating: 5.0

The QR-code

since yesterday
I had to say

unfortunately enough
we have to wear it again
the mouth-nose mask and then

the 1,5 meters distant
view with substant
keep sterilizing your hands
at every entrance
where you want to be

yes, you all and me!

luckily not the curfew again

for everyone and not just for the happy few then

and above all
have the QR code with you

because without this personal health sign

no entrance on the terrace for drinking wine

and delicious food in the restaurant

like a Dutch poetess
it's my big zest
to inform you,
to say,
what our prime minister asked of us yesterday

The Qr-Code
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The Covid-19 Rules tighter than before. We must show our QR-code when we wish to drink at the terrace or to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant that do not ask for our QR-code, will get a very heavy fine.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

The frustration of Covid echoes all over the world. I've given up wearing face masks. It's my personal protest as I've had two jabs. A good 5*
