The Queen Of The Night Poem by Hemakumar Nanayakkara

The Queen Of The Night

Rating: 5.0

Mighty oceans of darkness
slowly flow
Shiny pearls like stars
brightly glow

Sensation of your
elegant bloom
Appears once in a
blue moon

Suspending on a rough
spicky surface
Swaying like a
pretty young princess

Blooming throughout
one summer night
Until become whole
and bright

Seducing enigmatic fragrances
of absolute devine
Mesmerizing sweet senses
of mother nature's design

Precious wonder under
the calm moonlight
You are the gracious
Queen of the Night...

The way Georgia O'Keefe paints, you write. A bloom is infused with sensual life. You paint a poem of nature, and the reader hears deliciously more. This is an amazing poem! Very well done.

You have artfully personified the magic and mystery of the night as an alluring and enchanting queen to whom all lovers of the night bow with alacrity.
