Rosy amber sun rises beyond
high hazy blue mountains
Early morning dew drops
moisten manicured gardens
Blackbirds sweetly twitter
springtime melodies
Colourful butterflies float
freely over budding trees
Golden daylight eventually
falls through misty curtains
Herds of cows ascend to
green pastures in the hills
Streams of glacier water gently
flow into turquoise lakes
Flock of swans gracefully swim
near moss covered banks
Humming honey bees fly swiftly
around flower decked meadows
Crocuses of spring elegantly
bloom in white lilac and yellow
Clusters of violet Hyacinths
spread intensive fragrant scents
Red winged Ladybirds quietly crawl up
into beautifully blossomed flowers
Timid long eared hares quickly
hop into the dark wild woods
Dappled mushrooms grow
rapidly under shady trees
Magnolia petals flutter
as the fresh breezes blow
Daffodils of spring dangle
decorating bloomy gardens...

One could almost wish for such a spring to be eternal. Luminous write, my poet friend. As always, Sandra
A very good commentary of beautiful spring, yes it was really a spring, thanks for shairng,10+.
I felt like I was standing there witnessing all this beauty with the accompanied scents of spring.
This surely is true poetic observation of all things naural. Very well prosed, and delightful to read. Best wishes for future work. From Fay Slimm....Thank you for the kind opinion of my piece called Longings.
I gave this a 10 because beauty is what poetry should be, in both the heart and mind. You grace both at the same time with your words. You are a pleasure to read. GW62
