The Reluctant Model Poem by Practicing Poetess

The Reluctant Model

Rating: 5.0

She said her name was Raven,
With hair as black as that bird.
She was a noisy girl, and from
A mile away, she could be heard.

She wanted to be boho,
She fancied the artsy crowd.
Photographers and painters, they
Did tolerate her praises loud.

A budding artist, name of Mick
Decided he would sketch her
She took off running, like a shot
So first, he had to catch her!

Many thanks to you, Dr. Tony! The girl was not willing to pose in the nude for an artist's sketch! Modest young Miss.

I have a preference for women with black hair, like the one in your poem. She is camera-shy or wary of artists. Great.

Michael, she loves to be associated with artists, and to hang with them. I think that perhaps she was afraid that he wanted to sketch her in the nude! Whereas, probably he only wanted to do0 a little practice, pencil-sketch of her face only, because he felt that she had interesting features. Thanks for commenting! :)
