A man of few words,
He doesn't say much in plain conversation.
But in poetry, he comes alive!
So expressive, that you can see his heart.
The silent stranger,
Normally keeping his thoughts to himself.
But, give him an idea to work with,
And pen and paper, then look out, world!

This thing is having a snowball effect! So many men can personally relate to this poem! Bearing out a truth that we've known all along- - Women talk way more than men do! (The old research said that women speak 20,000 words a day, to a man's 7,000.) Thanks Louis for reading and commenting! : -)
You're right about this quiet man... and then given an idea, pen and paper..., and this need not be true for poetry alone, even other writers, when you write you are in better touch with both your head and heart. Very well said.
Aniruddha, you expressed that so perfectly! Thank you so much for reading, and for your fine and astute comment!
But in poetry, he comes alive! So expressive, that you can see his heart. it is so true. some are like that. they find joy in being silent. Their silence is very creative and from there poems are born. love this poem. tony
