The Saviour Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Saviour

Rating: 5.0

Picture yourself on a crucifix
Remember you tried to get a fix
Picture yourself high in the sky
Remember Jesus watched you die
Picture yourself on the cross
Remember you were the boss
Picture yourself high in the sky
Remember people watched you die
Picture yourself with bloody holes in each hand
Remember you were the leader of the band
Picture yourself high in the sky
Remember you watched yourself die

You are very right. Drugs are such a tragic way to die! Drugs spoil life of many and bring sadness and agony. These give pain.

Tragically, I've been watching this happen with a number of friends. And I feel so helpless because they don't seem to want any help. We can only try.

Having high ambition with self trust is definitely very nice and interesting. Having high ambition as high as sky is wise. You remember that you are a leader. Death of a friend brings pain and emotion. This poem is wonderfully penned and shared...10
