The Sentiments Of Mobile Phone Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

The Sentiments Of Mobile Phone

Rating: 5.0

Today, when I connected the mob charger
To my mobile phone, the mobile asked me:
"Where is my original charger? "

"Why do you bother about that,
Since you are getting charged every day
Before I get charged by my breakfast? "

"Please answer me, instead of whataboutery"

‘Then you go and lodge a complaint"

"Don't speak like Chackochan's character"

"My daughter replaced it with her charger"

"My original charger and I came here together
It is like my lover, I can't sit separated from it for long

"Like lover….? "

"Yes, why you frown at me?
You think only living things can have
Love and attachment? We gadgets too have
Such things and sentiments"

"Oh! I see. This is a new piece of information for me,
However, dear gadget, there is separation also.
Now you suffer a little bit that, too."

"Hahahahaha"

"I did not crack a joke to make you laugh"

"What an irony, Yaar... Round the clock
You keep opened your inner eyes
For composing poems about
Sincere love, the romantic ambience,
The pangs of separation, the waiting etc.
Even then you could not open your eyes
To sense your own mob suffering from pains
Of separation under your nose"

"Hello, don't make a cycling on my sentiments"

"And you can make bike riding on my sentiments? "

"Mere Yaar, please adjust with this for the time being,
After all, you must also learn how to settle down
With the changing situation in harmonious way! "

The mobile soon went on the sleep mode,
Waking me up to my senses to think about
The original charger whether it would also
Think and feel the same way!
Is that why my mobile makes slow charging?

A funny and interesting poem, the gadget lovers would surely love to read.Intelligence and emotions are that separate the living from non-living. But our modern gadgets have them all and time has come for us to be sensitive to their feelings.
