The Seven Vast Seas - Poem by Mark McDowell

A weirdo you say;
A creep and a joke,
Lower than angels,
Diamonds and jewels.
But for all the wrongs
Created for me’s
Oh please remember,
I was born inside the seven vast seas.

Through radioed clones
And popular deeds;
Outcasts and loners
In my serenades -
For all the wrong done
In my destiny
Oh please remember,
I was born inside the seven vast seas.

I dream a dream of
Magic conclusions
That will not prison
Me with chains and rope;
So for all the wrongs
Departed upon me
Oh please remember,
I was born to rise from the seven vast seas.
