The Seven Wonders Of The World.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Seven Wonders Of The World....

Rating: 5.0

My niece in Jakarta sent this to me in her Whatsapp, it reads as follows:

A teacher assigns an assignment for students to write 7 Wonders of the World. *
That night the Teacher examined the assignment,
Most students write thus:

Seven Wonders of the World:
1. Pyramid.
2. TajMahal.
3. The Great Wall of China.
4. Tower of Pisa.
5. Angkor Temple.
6. Eiffel Tower.
7. Borobudur Temple.

Sheet after sheet contains almost the same thing.
Some differences are only in the order in which the lists are written
But the teacher kept checking until the last sheet...

But when checking the last sheet, the teacher was silent.
The last sheet belongs to the Quiet Little Girl...
It says something like this:

*Seven Wonders of the World: *
1. Can See,
2. Can Hear,
3. Can Touch,
4. Lovable,
5. Can Feel,
6. Can Laugh, and
7. Can Love...

After sitting quietly for a while, the Teacher closed the student assignment sheet.
* Then bows his head praying... *
Giving thanks to the quiet little girl in his class who taught him a great lesson, which is: _
No need to search to the ends of the earth to find a miracle... *
That miracle, is all around us, for us to have and don't forget for us "Gratitude"! ! ! *
What are we looking for in this Life...? * _
We live in gardens, we miss the city... *
We live in the city, miss the garden... *
When it is dry, we ask when it rains? *
In the rainy season, we ask when is the dry season? *

Stay home, want to leave... *
After leaving, want to go home... *

Quiet time, find a crowd... *
Busy time, find peace... *

When still single complained of wanting to get married,
Already a family complained of not having children,
after having children complaining how heavy the cost of Life and Education... *

It turns out that SOMETHING looks beautiful, because we don't have it... * _
When will happiness be obtained
if we only always think of what does not yet exist,
but ignore what we already have... *

Be a person who is always thankful *
* with the grace we already have... *

Is it possible for a small leaf to cover this wide earth...? ? *
Covering the palm is difficult... *
But if this small leaf is stuck to our eyes, then "EARTH" is covered with leaves, *

Likewise, if the heart is covered with even the slightest bad thought,
then we will see ugliness everywhere *
*This earth will look bad...*

Don't close our eyes, even if only with small leaves... *
Don't cover our hearts, with a bad thought,
even if only the tip of a nail....

THANK YOU what we have as capital to REALLY HAVE...
Because Life is TIME on loan, * _
and the treasure is the Blessing entrusted... * _

And all that, one day you will be held accountable. * _
So... Be thankful for the Breath that we still have... *
Be grateful for the family that we have... *
Be grateful for the work we have... *
Be Thankful and Always Thankful in Everything. *
Immediately race in Goodness... *
Amen....
