O Krishna,
I covet no war victories,
Kingdom, nor royal pleasures,
What use to us kingdom and luxuries?
What use is life lit with leisures? ||1.32 ||

In his despair Arjun pleads with Krishna: I covet for victories, nor kingdom, nor yet royal pleasures. What use such kingdom won over the life of our own people? What use such a life and its leisures? Here is the transliteration.

na kānkśhe vijayam kŗśhņana cha rājyam sukhāni cha |
kim nah rājyena govindakim bhogaih jīvitena vā || 1.32 ||

na kānkśhe: I covet not, I wish not to get; vijayam: victory (in war): kŗśhņa: O Krishna; na cha rājyam: and not kingship/kingdom; sukhāni cha: nor pleasures/happiness; kim nah: what to us; rājyena: with kingdom; govinda: O Krishna, O cow finder; kim bhogaih: what with luxuries/enjoyments; jīevitena vā: or with (such a)life.
