The Songbirds.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

The Songbirds....

Rating: 4.0

The Songbirds….

every morning I walk through the backyard
to work

the roses whisper as I passed by
I'd rather listen to the songbirds

they brighten me up
every morning

God invariably sends me songbirds to my backyard
they do not move to the warm south

when the church bells ring
they don't go to it or under the roofs

they prefer to sing
I am happy to hear the songbirds

God invariably sends them to me
I feel so intensely happy

listen to their beautiful songs

each morn for
the breaking of day...

Through the backyard you walk everyday morning and you hear the whisper of rose. God invariably sends songbirds to your yard along with bright morning. We feel and hear the truth. Listening to their beautiful song your poetic heart captures tenderness of perception. Greatly you nourish this poem. An excellent poem is well penned..5 stars..

A very cheery, upbeat poem. The bird certainbly of better conveyors of the spirit than are church bells. Well penned poem Sylvia.
