The Sound Of Rain
The sound of rain
Wakes me in the early hours
I watch in awe the dance of fronds
In wind and the clean and shining bowers
The sound of rain
Sends a sweet sensation
Inside of me and I open the doors
To watch the amazing beauty of creation
The sound of rain
Makes me to dance in joy
The raindrops fall upon the roofs
And I get soaked and feel like a young boy
The sound of rain
Should be there for all time
It will keep me fresh and young
With its soft touch and melodious chime
A very beautiful tribute to the song of rain. It brought back wonderful memories of a friend who loved dancing in the rain. I can so vividly see her now. Thanks for those memories, Anil!
