The Summer Troll Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Summer Troll

Rating: 5.0

The summer troll came a visiting,
He lingered here for some time.
Displaying his rank mucky wares,
On many poems of innocent rhyme.

Like shining, sharpened blades,
He slashed and cut relentless.
Attacking poems by the score,
This summer troll so senseless.

Leeann many thanks and you are absolutely spot on. The real cancer is being ignored. Thanks again and take care.

Dominic got the idea from Frank Sinatra's song The Summer Wind and just turned it around a bit. Thanks for your most generous comment and take care.

Excellent, incisive poem Shaun...methinks this retrograde troll requires the Keith Richards' treatment! Anyway, it's definitely a troll terminating ten from me.
