The Sword Of The Lord
The sword of the Lord Almighty
is needed in the battleground;
As your foe has many tactics,
in faith, love and hope, just abound.
Be brave, be strong, and be steadfast,
with the armor of Almighty
Against all the deceitful tricks,
use it to fight the enemy.
Choose the Maker's shield for defense
by always praying to the Lord;
Obey all of His commandments,
follow His each and every word.
This is really a lovely expression of a man having complete faith in the powers of the Lord. Great poem. Thanks for sharing with us, Bernard. I would like to quote a few lines: The sword of the Lord is needed in the battleground... against all Against all the devil's tricks, using it to win over the enemy.
