The Ten Sleeping Pills Poem by Allen Austin Bishop

The Ten Sleeping Pills

One to stop the anger.

Two to stop the voices.

Three to stop the verbal abuse.

Four to stop the manipulation.

Five to stop the betrayal.

Six to stop the physical pain.
Seven to stop the mental pain.

Eight to stop the confusion.
Nine to stop paranoia.

Ten to stop breathing
