The True Messenger Poem by Indira Renganathan

The True Messenger

Rating: 5.0

Winged all around
You're an engaged gossiper
Tell me o' wind, how can you be
As a friend mine for me a love-messenger

Trust me o' dear trust me, let me take
Your one breath with your one love song
I shall deliver it to your lover
And get back his love same way with his song

Winged all around though
A gossiper as people say though
O' wind, you alone are our caretaker
I trust, the lovers' true matchmaker
