The Unknown Urge - Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

I come down from the hill-top where
I was sitting for a while
How long I was, recall not
For the summit isn't mine

I reside down the valley this,
Pleasing fertile peaceful
But gazing at times I reach the peak
This unknown urge I can't resist

Topic(s) of this poem: desire, futility

is it not life itself? poetically dramatised as a soliloquy/fine (Report)Reply

Yes. Despite we have many good, we go for unrelated futile things. Thanks Yoonoos. Good question you asked
