The Unprivileged... Poem by Varsha M

The Unprivileged...

Rating: 5.0

Often I feel
The unprivileged
Is the most privileged.

When I see them in unkept worn
Roaming like a free bird
As the coo of mind spoke
Often I feel
The unprivileged
Is the most privileged.

Sitting on the gravel gray
Fighting like a mad ray
Totally unaware what others say
Often I feel
The unprivileged
Is the most privileged.

And those dawn and dusk play
With no concern to ever study
Just a days work enough to enjoy
Often I feel
The unprivileged
Is the most privileged.

Lingering here and there
And no one bothered to care
Just morning bread and night shelter
Often I feel
The unprivileged
Is the most privileged.

The other end of river
Always seems better
But the truth is sharper
Nothing comes without author.

You are the author
Laying all background cover
Until all seems brighter.

Often the poor possess an inner joy that is not dependent on material things, and sometimes the rich are miserable, no matter how much they have. Happiness is a way of traveling, as your wonderful poem illustrates.
