The Ego vs I the psychosocial inhibitions of personality is much debated pattern of a person (self) and can be manifested without or with the subsconscious mind. This is the theme you implied with your write and you presented it well into poetic monologue diction...a provoking interesting write...

From the behavioral point of view, when we go from reason to unreason then it has to have an expression either in the self or something that is opposite of self. In Persian and other eastern literature, the state of 'Khudi' is used for the self and 'Bekhudi' as opposite of self which has no translation in English. There fore I have used this word “unself” This state is quite different from 'unconsciousness' where all senses are totally lost. Here the senses are not lost but get to a much heightened level of experience away from the usual self that gets into the realm of understanding what we call the thought process in the right hemisphere of the brain, when it dominates leading to a behavior that is not akin to the left hemispheric activity. (May be)

Self to self - the self monologue, a contemplation of self, an assessment from the silence...and the unself - the way we are from the behavioral patterns which instinct manifest. The denial of actions done which irrationality reigns, unself which is visualized by others which you are not aware of hidden under the pandora's box...loved your profound poem...10+++

It's not easy my friend to understand the self and non-self, the distinction is more complicated than we think, an interesting sufi poem, with lot of food for thoughts. Well penned! ! !
