The Wait Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Wait

Rating: 3.0

Let me imagine you
As the first breath of Spring,
The one we don't know
What flowers of joy it will bring,
The one that my hand will forever hold,
And be at my side as we grow old,
The one whose love is always there,
Beloved presence, everywhere,
The one imagined, never found
As each new Spring just comes around.
