The War Of Dogs Poem by Sayeed Abubakar

The War Of Dogs

Rating: 5.0

Often I see through my window
A group of dogs quarrel with another
Group in my locality. They live on
Two different streets.
If any one of them tries to cross the
Other street, a terrible war takes place
Between them. They bark and attack
Their opponents showing no kindness.
Through my window, I watch the war.

My conscience says, 'Close your eyes and
Look at the earth. What do you see, tell? '
I see men are, more ferocious than dogs,
Fighting against men and killing them
Showing no kindness at all.
