The wild, wild wind
Is whistling and howling
Arousing, teasing
And playing with the sea
The blue and dark green water
Rises and lashes
And the proud waves
Mount on the feathers of the wind
They roll and roll on the sea
Like giant snakes
They hiss and roar
With the howling of the wolf
Threatening everything
That comes their way
As if to say
' We are here to conquer you'.

You evoke a grand theater where the forces of nature collide. These grand dramas of nature are mirrored in our minds when we reach heightened states of inspiration.
We are nothing before the tremendous power and strength of nature. So beautifully penned dearest friend Rose.
The wild wind - hissing and roaring......Nature's fury could not ave been expressed as poignant as this powerful poem.

The sea so often beautiful and calm, but when the wind is wild, there is cause for great alarm. So perfectly and vividly portrayed in this wonderful poem., pictorially and emotionally alive. To my favorites without a doubt.
