The Woods - Poem by Clayton Snyder

I'm lost
I've been Placed
In the middle of the woods
It seems to me
There's not one way out
It seems to me
That I've been here
For almost a year
I have begun to grow
Weary of this,
This investment
That I've so wearily
Put in
It seems to me
That I'm no closer
To getting out
Than I was
That one fine day
That I was unfortunately
Placed her
In these woods
