The World Is Not What It Was...
The world is not what it was..
The world would be what it was...
If our minds are crystal clear
If our hearts are filled with love..
If our souls are pure...
If our eyes reflect the humility of honesty...
If the brightness of humanity is shining within..
If truthfulness is rippling in our words..
If the good over evil triumphs...
If all the hatreds are dumped in the deserts...
If all the vile thoughts are buried in garbage bins..
If the devil in us is vanquished...
The world would be a better place to live in...
The world would be what it was!
You have aptly remarked...love is a rare commodity in today's world........only ego rules here... it was not so in earlier days....moral values are all time low in the present society......everybody has to wake up...your poem is a potential reminder....
