There Are Days Poem by David Harris

There Are Days

Rating: 5.0

There are days when everything
we touch crumbles within our hands.
These are the days when we wish
time would rush on by.
However, it never seems to go that way.

There are days when we feel
by just reaching out we could touch the moon.
On these days, we want
the hours to drag on by.
However, they seem to rush passed too swiftly on their way.

I love the way you pick up on these little instances of truth and form them into a thought-provoking poem. t x

There are only 24 hours in each day. Unfortunately I wish that today had MORE hours in it because I have so much to do... Nice poem, David. Love, Fran xxx
