There Is No Love Poem by Matthew Holloway

There Is No Love

Rating: 5.0

There is no love
only fairytales
only stories
songs and poetry
such ideals to reach
towards in vain
for like the stars
we cannot touch
feel or hold
there is no love
it was a beautiful lie
for a while
it became a painful truth
to overcome
now it is but a word
two vowels
two consonants
an etching, doodle
a fairytale told
there is no love
no more, not here

Matt, there's always hope someone will come Don't count it away. Like the song from the Supremes You can't hurry love

If there is no love the whole world would be already. I feel there is that atom of love here on earth Dear Matthew.
