There Once Was A Bird In The Sky Poem by Elisabeth Wingle

There Once Was A Bird In The Sky

Rating: 4.3

There once was a bird in the sky
Who thought it was easy to fly!
But the bird flew too low
And flew into a pole
And never again did he fly!

wes beat me to the 'edit'. :) an easy mistake, easily corrected. otherwise, the poem is peachy keen, except for what happened to the bird. i 'love' birds. must have been one of the stupid ones! bri :)

Hey silly typo line 3 to/too It is nice to run into a natural limerick writer. give us more I figured out why some ratings don't get through they bring up the ratings list, select a number and forget to VOTE incidentally using the same word twice in rhyming is a time honoured Lear tradition, but you should try to avoid it..
