There's God Poem by Richard Wlodarski

There's God

Rating: 5.0

In my crazy
Bouts of numbness
I saw the light
Within darkness

In tears
Of such pain
I so cried
With such joy

With death
Around
Lone me
There's God

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Daniel 13 July 2018

This is truly a poem of happiness. The speaker has achieved both Self Knowledge (the Socratic KNOW THYSELF) and divine blessings (the soprano aria at the end of The Messiah, I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH) . Such happiness is a foretaste of Paradise, that is, an unending joy is forthcoming.
