There's Always Next Year Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

There's Always Next Year

Rating: 5.0

Chocolate and chips are bad for the hips,
My scales are beginning to groan,
If they could talk now,
They'd call me a fat cow!
But it's so hard to leave them alone,
I must eat more healthier,
Get back in trim,
For my clothes have given up the fight,
Sweets are so tempting,
The choice never ending,
I blame the shops!
It's not right!
Christmas is coming,
I think I'll hold on,
For there's always next year to diet,
I've a gateaux to eat,
And a ton of cooked meat,
And probably a few good fry ups!
