These Weirdo's Called My Family - Poem by Crystal Pierce

My family is filled with crazy nuts
and they tend to like to show off their butts!
I don't know how I've lived this long.
I cause because my mind set is strong.

This is my family's twisted game.
That's how everyone knows my name.

I cause because my mind set is strong. ................ i THINK you meant to type guess instead of cause. hmm?

it's not easy knowing when a word is made of one part or two, separated by a space. i've noticed some poets in other countries (which i think were influenced by British English speakers) use two-part words when i would use one part. like 'every one' instead of 'everyone'.

you use mind set but i feel mindset is more proper:

    mindset
    ˈmīn(d) set/
    noun
noun: mindset; plural noun: mindsets; noun: mind-set; plural noun: mind-sets

the established set of attitudes held by someone.
the region seems stuck in a medieval mindset

    my favorite lines:

This is my family's twisted game.
That's how everyone knows my name.

i'll put this poem into MyPoemList.
